On Wednesday morning, seven people that included a driver, as well as, a conductor of a BEST bus were hurt when the bus hit a dumper from the back at Dadar TT, highlighted a report by the Times of India. According to an official, those hurt have been taken to the Sion Hospital. 

Based on accounts, the Tejaswini bus was plying travellers on route number 22 which functions from Marol to Pydhonie. The incident transpired whilst it was on its way at Dadar.

Doctors at the Sion Hospital elaborated on how seven people were taken to the hospital, all of whom had sustained different levels of injuries. Whilst three of those admitted have serious injuries, four have minor wounds, highlighted authorities from the hospital.

The report quoted Dean Dr. Mohan Joshi, who stated that the driver and the conductor have sustained severe injuries, elaborating that the driver has an injury to the liver and has thus been taken for surgery. He also said that the conductor had a fractured rib, whilst the third individual hurt, sustained a fracture on the neck, as well as, the head. He stated that since all three are serious they have been admitted to the emergency ward.

Additionally, whilst the other four have minor injuries, they are hospitalized for observation purposes. A doctor elucidated on how the majority of them had injuries to their chest and head, therefore, they will undergo scans and other requisite tests. 

The front section of the BEST bus was affected and has been taken to a workshop for repair works.
