Shirdi Sai trust will donate Rs 51 crore to combat coronavirus

At the time of this crisis, there are many that are coming forward with their generous contribution to help the state and the country to fight a battle with coronavirus. Today, Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi announced that it is giving a donated of Rs 51 Crore to Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to fight the COVID19 pandemic.

CRPF too has made a donated worth Rs 33.81 crore to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. Furthermore, all its personnel unanimously decided to contribute one day salary towards combating coronavirus. Another temple trust that has pledged to support the cause is Mahavir Temple Trust in Bihar which has donated Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Friday informed that all his party MLAs and MPs will contribute their one month’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) in order to tackle the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

Anil Agarwal, Chairman of Vedanta would be donating Rs 100 crore to help India fight against coronavirus. Sport personalities too have announced that they will be making their contribution. Sachin Tendulkar has pledged Rs 50 lakh while MS Dhoni has shared he will be donating Rs 1 lakh.
