Dadar - The statue of Shivaji, place on the western side of the Shivaji park is one of the very few statues in which Shivaji is depicted without having drawn out his sword. Statue was created in 1966 using donations from the local population, the statue has turned 50 this year on 6 November, 2016. Statue stands 26ft weighing around 7 tonnes. Statue is made of bronze and sculptor Santosh Kambli spelled the statue with bronze.
