Several districts in Maharashtra have suffered massive destruction due to heavy rains and flooding. In many areas, houses have collapsed, and agricultural lands have been completely washed away.

This devastating flood has left many families shattered. Children's books and school supplies have been swept away, and with them, countless dreams. The affected people are now in dire need of help and support.

Rehabilitating the flood-hit citizens is a collective responsibility, and many individuals and organisations are stepping forward to contribute in various ways.

Notably, several major temple trusts across the state have come forward with significant donations for flood relief efforts. Mumbai’s famous Lalbaug Ganeshotsav Mandals have announced aid, followed by contributions from the Vitthal-Rukmini Temple in Pandharpur, the Sai Baba Sansthan in Shirdi, and the Gajanan Maharaj Temple Trust in Shegaon.

Now, joining the effort, the renowned Siddhivinayak Temple Trust in Mumbai has also announced a generous donation of INR 10 crore for the flood-affected regions of Maharashtra. The trust released an official press statement confirming the contribution.
