Part of a dilapidated building collapses at Grant Road

Part of a dilapidated building located at Mumbai's Grant Road collapsed on Wednesday, July 15, at around 1.30 pm. The fire brigade and rescue teams have rushed to the spot and no casualties have been reported 

As per reports, the residential building is a G+3 (Ground Plus 3) structure near Dreamland Cinema, Pavwala Street in Grant Road. The first floor of the building collapsed at around 1.30 pm on Wednesday, causing a commotion. Locals immediately evacuated the building and informed the police control room about the same, after which the fire brigade team was informed regarding the incident. 

Officials marked this as the Level L0 incident. MFB, Police, ward staff and 108 Ambulance were mobilised immediately to control the situation.

Besides this, another incident was reported in Dahisar, where a fire broke out at an SRA building on Wednesday morning. No casualties or injuries were reported from the incident.
