Borivali school organises a rally to spread environmental awareness

The level of pollution in the name of development is increasing on a large scale in Mumbai. There is a serious impact on the health of citizens of the city and this problem needs to be addressed. Recently, a public rally was organised by the students of St Rock’s High School in Borivali, raising awareness about the environmental degradation and trying to address the pollution in the city.

At this rally, teachers and students spontaneously participated in creating awareness and spreading the message of avoiding plastic bags usage and encouraging people to plant trees. A rally was organised in the school premises under this initiative.

Students made portrayals during the rally. The replicated the earth and trees. All of these replicas were made out of waste products. Students made bags out of cloth and avoided using plastic.

Allocating them to the residents appealed to avoid using plastic bags.

This rally helped the students to realise environmental issues and also address the crucial problems.
