Water supply to Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) from M Stem Authority will be shut down for 24 hours from Wednesday, August 28 from 9.00 am to Thursday 9.00 am for important daily maintenance work in their scheme. However, by planning its own water supply scheme of Thane Municipal Corporation, it has been planned to continue water supply in Thane city in a phased manner.


As a result, water supply to Ghodbunder Road, Pawarnagar, Azad Nagar, Dongripada, Waghbil, Kasarvadavali, Vijayanagari, Vijay Park, Ram Mandir Road, Manpada, Tikujiniwadi, Hiranandani Estate, Dhokali, Yashasvi Nagar, Manoramanagar, Majivada, Kapurbawadi, Soham Estate, Unnati, Surkurpada, Jaibhavani Nagar, Mumbra, Retibandar etc. will shut off from Wednesday August 28, 9.00 am to 9.00 pm and water supply to Samtanagar, Ritu Park, Siddheshwar, Akriti, Dosti, Viviana Mall, Vartaknagar, Rustamji, Nehrunagar, Kisan Nagar-2, Johnson, Jail, Saket etc. will be shut off from 9.00 pm on Wednesday to 9.00 am on Thursday, in a phased manner.

Due to the said shutdown, water supply is likely to be at low pressure for the next 1 to 2 days until the water supply returns to its original status. However, the Municipal Corporation has appealed to the citizens to store water properly and cooperate with the Thane Municipal Corporation.
