Only 11.76 percent water is left in the lakes which supply water to Mumbai. In such a situation, speculations were being made that people in Mumbai may have to face water cuts. However, in the meantime an important news has come to the fore. The state government agreed to give a quota of water from the upper Vaitarana. Because of which now the possibilities of water cut in Mumbai have become negligible.
