11-Hour Water Cut In Juhu, Andheri, and Vile Parle; Check Date, Timing and Areas

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced a planned water cut in parts of K-West ward on Thursday, June 19. This is due to maintenance and replacement work on two important water pipelines in Versova and Andheri (West).

A 1,350 mm diameter flow control valve on the Bandra water pipeline will undergo repairs. The valve is located beneath the Gopal Krishna Gokhale Bridge in Andheri (West). At the same time, a 900 mm diameter butterfly valve on the Versova water pipeline will also be replaced.

Due to these repairs, the water supply will be completely stopped for 11 hours from 2 pm on Thursday, June 19, to 1 am on Friday, June 20.

The following areas in the K-West Ward will face a complete water cut. These areas usually receive water between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm:

• Juhu-Vile Parle Development Scheme (JVPD)

• Vile Parle (West)

• Lallubhai Udyan

• Lohia Nagar

• Parle Gaothan

• Milan Subway

• Juhu Gaothan No. 3

• VM Road

• Moragaon

• Juhu Gaothans No. 1 and 2

In Andheri (West), the following areas will also be affected. These locations usually get water between 10 pm and 12:30 am:

• Gilbert Hill

• Juhu Galli

• Dhangarwadi

• Sagar City Society
