Friday, March 5, 2021, was an unusal day for some commuters in Thane, as three road accidents were reported in the city on one day. As per the data published in Mumbai Mirror, these incidents occurred on Ghodbunder road, through the day, on Friday.
One of the accidents claimed the life of a five-year-old girl, where a tourist vehicle car is said to have dashed the metro barricades and tumbled in the second incident. The latter was reported near the Vihang Inn signal.
Besides this, a motorbike and Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) operated water tanker dashed in the third incident which was reported at Ghodbunder road's Bramhand signal.
Reports have been filed at the police station, and the cases are being investigated by the officials
