Essential pre-monsoon maintenance work—including control panel repairs, transformer oil filtration, and other critical tasks—will be carried out at the high-pressure substation at Pise Udanchan Kendra and Temghar Water Purification Center, under Thane Municipal Corporation’s own water supply scheme. Therefore, water supply will be shut off for a total of 12 hours on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
As a result, water supply in Thane Municipal Corporation area, Ghodbunder Road, Vartak Nagar, Ritu Park, Jail, Gandhi Nagar, Rustomji, Siddhanchal, Samata Nagar, Internity, Johnson and some parts of Kalwa will be completely shut down for 12 hours.
At the same time, citizens should please note that water supply will be at low pressure for the next 1 to 2 days after the water supply resumes. During this water cut period, the Thane Municipal Corporation has appealed to cooperate by storing the required water and using it sparingly.
