Wadala- Wadala's GRP police are living in a dangerous building as it is dilapidated. The office where they sit in has leaky roofs, cracked walls, broken tiles & shabby bathroom. Also, as this office is situated on a single platform, it poses a threat to GRP officers.
Wadala GRP was constructed on 2nd & 3rd platform in the year 1999. However, till date this police station was not taken in for repair. Even though State Government has declared it as a dangerous building, GRP police are not shifted yet. Here, 166 police work in this police station out of which 27 are women constables.
