The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has announced a 24-hour water shutdown in multiple areas under the Wagle and Lokmanya Savarkar Nagar ward committees on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, due to essential work to activate a newly laid 1168 mm pipeline at Indiranagar Sump, which requires installing a 750 mm valve at Indiranagar Naka.
Water supply will remain completely suspended from 9:00 am on November 26 to 9:00 am on November 27, 2025 in areas including Indiranagar, Srinagar, Warlipada, Kailasnagar Reno Tank, Rupadevi Sump and Reno Tank, Ramnagar, Yeoor Air Force and Lokmanya sump zones.
The Thane Municipal Corporation has asked residents to use water sparingly as after the supply resumes, residents may experience low water pressure for 1–2 days. Residents have been asked to co-operate with the civic body during the shutdown.
