Water supply to be cut off in two wards on January 27 and 28

Keeping the supply cut in mind, citizens living in these areas have been appealed to save the required amount of water as a precautionary measure.

Citizens living in Ward M-East and M-West will face inconvinience due to water cuts which have been planned by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on January 27 and 28, 2021. As per reports, the supply will be cut off on Thursday (January 27) from 10 am to 4 am, and on Friday (January 28) for a total of 18 hours.

Concerned department from the civic body has informed that the same is being planned to conduct the work of replacing the inlets valve at the Trombay High Reservoir.  Following areas located the above mentioned wards will be affected. Residents are advised to make a note of the same.

Ward M-East

  • Ward No. 140 - Tatanagar, Govandi Station Road
  • Ward No. 141 - Deonar Municipal Corporation Colony, Lallubhai Compound
  • Ward No. 142 - Lallubhai Compound, Hiranandani Building
  • Ward No. 143 - Johnson Jacob Marg (A, B, I, F Sector), SPPL Buildings, MHADA Buildings, Maharashtra Nagar
  • Ward No. 144 - Deonar Gaon Road, Govandi Gaon, V. N. East Road, BKSD Road, Telecommunication Factory Complex, Mandala Village, Mankhurd Naval, Conservation Area, Mankhurd Village, Govandi Station Road, T. Income. F. R. Colony

Keeping the supply cut in mind, citizens living in these areas have been appealed to save the required amount of water as a precautionary measure. The administration has also requested the citizens to use water sparingly during the cut-off period.
