Mumbai Suburban District Women and Child Development Officer Sharad Kurhade has said that to prevent violence against women and children, applications have been invited within 15 days of office work for starting a Women Counseling Center at Bhandup Police Station in Mumbai Suburban district. Going. Preference will be given if the applicant organisation is from Mumbai Suburban District (Local) and is a female office holder.


The organisation has not embezzled public property, a certificate from the District Collector, no misconduct certificate signed by the office bearers of the organisation (Chairman and Secretary), a sub-divisional police officer, registration under the Organization Registration Act and the Bombay Public Trustee Act is required. The organisation requires minimum 3 years of experience in the field of women counselling and more experience will be preferred. It is necessary to attach the list of two MSW passed counselling staff and documents for counselling.

It is necessary to have a constitution and rules of the organisation which should have the objective of running a counselling centre for women, audit report for the last three years, signed by a chartered accountant, monthly bank statement for the last three months. Enclose a list of names, addresses, telephone numbers of working officials of the organisation.


The members of the executive board of the organisation should not be relatives of each other and no member should be in government service. District Women and Child Development Officer Sh Kurhade has also said that the voluntary organisations which had earlier submitted proposals for the counselling centre should also submit fresh proposals.
