Mumbai police have taken strict steps for women's protection In regard with this, the government has taken another step of starting mobile vehicles for immediate help to women. Now women drivers will be appointed in these vehicles.

For this, women are being trained to drive. Four women are being trained at Nagpada Motor Transport Department at this time. These women have completed the first phase of two months training and they will be provided vehicles soon.

Currently, mobile vehicles are available at 92 police stations in Mumbai. These vehicles also have GPS. Women police constables are also stationed along with a police in these vehicles. But due to the lack of female drivers male drivers were employed, but now the picture is going to change soon.
