The Mumbai division of Central Railway will operate a mega block to carry out maintenance work on its suburban sections on April 4, 2021, as under:

Thane-Kalyan Up and Down slow lines from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm

Down slow/semi-fast services leaving Mulund from 10.47 am to 3.46 pm will be diverted on Down fast line between Mulund and Kalyan stations and will halt at Thane, Diva and Dombivali stations and arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

Up slow/semi-fast services leaving Kalyan from 10.37 am to 3.51 pm will be diverted on Up fast line between Kalyan and Mulund stations and will halt at Dombivali, Diva and Thane stations, further rediverted on Up slow line at Mulund arriving destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

Suburban services will not be available at Kalva, Mumbra, Kopar and Thakurli stations during the block period.

Panvel-Vashi Up and Down harbour lines from 11.05 am to 4.05 pm (including Nerul/Belapur-Kharkopar harbour line)

Down Harbour line services to Panvel/Belapur leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus from 10.03 am to 3.16 pm and Up Harbour line services to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus leaving Panvel/Belapur from 10.49 am to 4.01 pm will remain cancelled.

Up Transharbour line services to Thane leaving Panvel from 11.02 am to 3.53 pm and Dn Transharbour line services to Panvel leaving Thane from 10.01 am to 3.20 pm will remain cancelled.

Special trains will be run on the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Kurla section during the block period.

Transharbour line services will be available between Thane-Vashi/Nerul stations during the block period.

Moreover, to carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, a Jumbo Block of four hours will be taken on up and down slow lines between Vasai Road and Virar from 00.30 hrs to 04.30 hrs in the intervening hours on Sunday, April 4, 2021. Hence, there will be no block on the Western Railway suburban section during the day this Sunday, April 4, 2021.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, during the block, some of the slow line trains will be worked on fast lines between Vasai and Virar.
