Mumbai Local News: "These" Trains On WR To Be Affected Between January 24-26

Western Railway (WR) will undertake major blocks o­n the intervening nights of January 24-25 (Friday/Saturday) and January 25-26 (Saturday/Sunday) in connection with rebuilding of south abutment of Bridge No. 20 between Mahim and Bandra stations.

O­n January 24-25, 2025, the block will be from 23:00 hrs to 08:30 hrs o­n UP & Down Slow lines and from 00:30 hrs to 06:30 hrs o­n Down Fast line. Similarly, o­n January 25-26, 2025, the block will be from 23:00 hrs to 08:30 hrs o­n UP & Down Slow and Down Fast lines and from 23:00 hrs to 07:30 hrs o­n UP Fast line.

According to a press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer of WR, Vineet Abhishek, during the execution of work suburban services will be affected. Details of the same are as below:

Repercussions o­n 24^th /25^th January 2025 (Friday/Saturday):

• Last Slow service towards Virar will depart Churchgate at 23:58 hrs.
• All Slow services departing Churchgate after 23.00 hrs o­n Friday, will run o­n Fast Line between Mumbai Central & Santacruz and hence will not halt at Mahalaxmi, Lower Parel, Prabhadevi, Matunga Road, Mahim and Khar Road stations.
• Similarly, after 23:00 hrs, all Slow services departing Virar, Bhayandar and Borivali will be run o­n the Fast line between Santacruz and Mumbai Central, hence will not halt at Khar Road, Mahim, Matunga Road, Prabhadevi, Lower Parel and Mahalaxmi stations.
• During the execution of work, services between Churchgate and Dadar will be operated o­n Fast lines.
• Some Western & Central Railway services between Goregaon and Bandra will be operated o­n Harbour lines.
• On 25^th January, 2025 i.e. Saturday early morning, Slow & Fast services originating from Virar, Nallasopara, Vasai Road, Bhayandar and Borivali will run up to Andheri o­nly.
• First Fast train service for Churchgate after block will depart from Virar at 05:47 hrs and reach Churchgate at 07:05 hrs.
• First Down Fast line service after block will depart from Churchgate at 06:14 hrs.
• First Down Slow line service after block will depart from Churchgate at 08:03 hrs.
• On Friday/Saturday approx. 127 Suburban services will remain cancelled & 60 services will remain partially cancelled.

Repercussions o­n 25^th /26^th January 2025 (Saturday/Sunday):

• During the execution of work, services between Churchgate and Dadar will operate o­n Fast lines.
• On Saturday night/ Sunday morning, both Slow and Fast services originating from Virar, Nallasopara, Vasai Road, Bhayandar and Borivali will run up to Andheri.
• Some Western & Central Railway services between Goregaon and Bandra will be operated o­n Harbour lines.
• The last local o­n UP Fast line will be Virar-Churchgate ex Virar at 22:07 hrs and o­n UP Slow line will be Borivali - Churchgate ex Borivali at 22:22 hrs.
• The last local o­n the DOWN Fast line will be Churchgate – Borivali ex Churchgate at 22:33 hrs and the last o­n DOWN Slow lines will be Churchgate - Bhayandar ex Churchgate at 22:26 hrs. These trains will be extended up to Virar.
• The first train after block o­n the DOWN Fast line will be Churchgate - Virar ex Churchgate at 08:35 hrs and the first train o­n DOWN Slow line will be Churchgate -Borivali ex Churchgate at 08:35 hrs.
• The first train after block o­n the UP Fast line will be Virar - Churchgate ex Virar at 07:38 hrs and the first train o­n the UP Slow line will be Virar - Churchgate ex Virar at 07:35 hrs.
• On Saturday/Sunday approx. 150 Suburban services will remain cancelled & 90 services will remain partially cancelled.

Cancellation of Trains:

1.Train No. 12267 Mumbai Central – Hapa Duronto Express of 25th January, 2025 will remain cancelled.

2.Train No. 12268 Hapa- Mumbai Central Duronto Express of 26th January, 2025 will remain cancelled.

3.Train No. 12227 Mumbai Central – Indore Duronto Express of 25th January, 2025 will remain cancelled.

4.Train No. 12228 Indore – Mumbai Central Duronto Express of 26th January, 2025 will remain cancelled.

Short Termination/Origination of Trains:

1.Train No. 09052 Bhusaval - Dadar Special of 25th January, 2025 will short terminate at Borivali and remain partially cancelled between Borivali and Dadar.

2.Train No. 12927 Dadar – Ekta Nagar Superfast Express of 25th January, 2025 will short originate from Borivali and remain partially cancelled between Dadar and Borivali.

3.Train No. 19003 Dadar – Bhusaval Khandesh Express of 26^thJanuary, 2025 will short originate from Borivali and remain partially cancelled between Dadar and Borivali.

4.Train No. 19015 Dadar – Porbandar Saurashtra Express of 26th January, 2025 will short originate from Borivali and remain partially cancelled between Dadar and Borivali.

5.Train No. 22946 Okha – Mumbai Central Saurashtra Mail of 25th January, 2025 will short terminate at Borivali and remain partially cancelled between Borivali and Mumbai Central.

6.Train No. 12902 Ahmedabad – Dadar Gujarat Mail of 25th January, 2025 will short terminate at Palghar and remain partially cancelled between Palghar and Dadar.

7.Train No. 59024 Valsad – Mumbai Central Passenger of 26th January, 2025 will short terminate at Borivali and remain partially cancelled between Borivali and Mumbai Central.

8.Train No. 59045 Mumbai Central – Vapi Passenger of 26th January, 2025 will short originate from Borivali and remain partially cancelled between Mumbai Central and Borivali.

9.Train No. 12904 Amritsar – Mumbai Central Golden Temple Mail of 24th January, 2025 will short terminate at Andheri and remain partially cancelled between Andheri and Mumbai Central.

10.Train No. 19016 Porbandar – Dadar Saurashtra Express of 24th January, 2025 will short terminate at Borivali and remain partially cancelled between Borivali and Dadar.

1.Train No. 20901 Mumbai Central – Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express of 25^th January, 2025 will be rescheduled and depart at 06:15 hrs from Mumbai Central.

2.Train No. 20901 Mumbai Central – Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express of 26th January, 2025 will be rescheduled and depart at 08:15 hrs from Mumbai Central.

3.Train No. 22953 Mumbai Central - Ahmedabad Gujarat Superfast Express of 25^th January, 2025 will be rescheduled and depart at 06:40 hrs from Mumbai Central.
