Over the last few days, Indian cricket team captain, Virat Kohli, has been in talks for several reasons. His lady luck has certainly worked for the man, and now the ace cricketer has another reason to rejoice. Right after the second test against South Africa, Virat was given the title of ICC Cricketer of the Year, ICC ODI Cricketer of the Year and captain of both ICC Test, at the recently held ICC awards event.


With his swift play and strategy, Kohli has made a mark in the game and has also won accolades for the country, in several tournaments, in the last few years. Under his leadership, he along with the team made it to the final of the Champions Trophy, ODI series wins against many other teams.

Virat also made it to the list of all-time ODI centurions after making his 31st hundred against New Zealand, and also became the fastest batsman to make 9,000 ODI runs by beating Ponting’s earlier record.
