In a major addition to its pace attack, Mumbai Indians have traded left-arm bowler Trent Boult from Delhi Capitals. Boult will side with the likes of Bumrah, McClenaghan in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The seasoned New Zealand bowler made his IPL debut in 2014 and played for DC in the 2018 and 2019 season. So far, Boult has bagged 38 IPL wickets from 33 games.

His standout season was in 2018 when he took 18 wickets from 14 games for the Delhi Daredevils. Mumbai Indians took to Twitter to make the announcement about Boult's entry to the Paltan:

Alongside, pacer Ankit Rajpoot will be representing Rajasthan Royals in the VIVO IPL 2020 after a successful trade by Kings XI Punjab. The right-arm fast bowler had joined KXIP in 2018 and has played 23 IPL matches with 22 wickets to his name.

Rajpoot made the headlines after one of the most memorable bowling performances ever as he claimed 5/14 in a league game in the 2018 season against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the latter’s home ground.

Owing to his outstanding show, Rajpoot went on to earn the Man of the Match award. Notably, Rajpoot is the only uncapped player to have a five-wicket haul in the IPL.
