Mumbai Indians won by 57 runs and qualify for the finals of IPL 2020. Earlier in the day, Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bowl first. MI was not off to a great start as captain Rohit Sharma was out on a duck and the team was 16/1 after 1.3 overs. However, the team continue to steer on and ended up putting a total of 200/5. A 60-run partnership off just 23 balls between Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan ensured that the team had a good target posted for the opponent.
In reply, Delhi capital managed to lose three wickets without putting any runs on the board. Boult started the devastation and managed to get two wickets in the first over itself. Jasprit Bumrah in the second over managed to get the wicket of Shikhar Dhawan for 0. Shikhar Dhawan is Delhi Capital's in-form batsmen and they were counting on him to give them a good start to chase the two-ton.
With this win, MI has managed to enter into the finals of IPL for the sixth time.
