According to reports, the Mumbai Indians are the favourite of bookies and are currently priced at ₹4.90.
This is followed by Hyderabad SunRisers who are priced at ₹5.60, as per bookies based in and around the city. However, IPL 2020, which is set to begin on September, has the Gurugram police giving directions to its intelligence wing, crime branch units, and the station house officers (SHOs) of the district to keep their scanner on for the people who run illicit betting rackets and start gathering information about such offenders.
In view of the pandemic, this year's tournament is being held in the UAE. Mumbai Indians, led by Rohit Sharma, have won four titles so far, while the Chennai Super Kings have won the tournament three times.

Besides English and Hindi, the league will be broadcasted in seven regional languages. The IPL 2020 will also be aired on Star’s regional language sports channels Star Sports Tamil, Star Sports Telugu, Star Sports Kannada and Star Sports Bangla. Fans in England and Ireland will also be able to watch IPL matches on Sky Sports, Villa TV in the US and Canada and Fox Sports in Australia and New Zealand.
