A few months ago, there was a stir in the cricket world after the allegations against Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw. Social media influencer Sapna Gill had filed a molestation complaint against Prithvi Shaw at the police station. He had made very serious allegations against Prithvi Shaw. Meanwhile, the police officers appeared in the Andheri Magistrate Court on Monday in this matter. During this, the officer said that all the allegations made by Sapna Gill on Prithvi Shaw are false.
Sapna Gill approached the Magistrate Court after the Mumbai Airport Police refused to register an FIR following her complaint against Prithvi Shaw. Sapna Gill through her lawyer Ali Kashif Khan demanded registration of FIR in Andheri court. After this, the court ordered the police to present the report in this matter.
After the police submitted its report, Ali Kashif Khan requested the court to produce the video of the quarrel recorded by Sapna Gill's friend. This video went viral on social media. He also asked for photos from the CCTV installed outside the pub. The court handed over the footage of the entire incident to the police and adjourned the matter till June 28.
Sapna Gill filed a complaint against Prithvi Shaw and his friend Ashish Yadav in the Andheri Magistrate Court under sections 354 (assault or force to a woman with intent to molest), 509 (words, gestures with intent to molest) and 324 of the IPC. (Voluntarily) filed a complaint u/s. Causing hurt by dangerous weapons or instruments) A case was registered.
