With the news of the Indian Cricket Players being in isolation reaching social media, Netizens burst out in splits and rage over the possible consumption of beef by the Indian Players.
Earlier, Indian cricket players Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant were put in isolation after a social media post surfaced on Twitter of them eating in an outdoor venue in Melbourne on New Year's Day. . Along with the two of them, Shubman Gill, Prithvi Shaw and Navdeep Saini, have all been separated from both the India and Australia squads.
However, Netizens noticed one “peculiar” thing about the social media post, the fact that the players had ordered for beef during their recent outing with many joking that "Sharma jee ka ladka bhi beef khaata hain".

Meanwhile, as per reports, the Cricket Australia’s statement informed that a joint probe is on and the five have been isolated from the remaining team. Even though both Cricket Australia (CA) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are investigating the matter, the Indian team management has backed its players adding that there has been no breach whatsoever with regards to the protocols in view of the pandemic.
