On Tuesday, the firefighters recovered another dead body from Goregaon’s Techniplex from the seventh floor increasing the number of deceased to five.
Rakeeb whose dead body was recovered, must have tried hiding near electric panel to save his life, suggested firefighters. As per the doctor's report, the body was majorly burnt and was decomposed as well.
His brother Abdul Hamid told Navbharat Times that his deceased brother Rakeeb called him and gave him the ATM pin number and asked him to withdraw the money and hand it over to his family as he is not going to make it.
On Sunday, May 27, 2018, the fire broke out on the seventh floor of Techniplex Complex on SV Road around 4:30 pm which claimed three lives and injured eight firefighters including a civilian. The rescue operations continued till late when another dead body was recovered by the firefighters around 3:30 am, adding to the death toll.

On Tuesday, the firefighters recovered another dead body on Tuesday from the seventh floor.
In total, five people lost their lives and nine got injured of which eight were firefighters and two have been admitted to Siddartha Hospital.
