Along with the increasing number of rape cases in Mumbai, molestation cases are also being reported in large numbers. In a recently filed report, a 35-year-old Canadian woman was allegedly molested in a five-Star hotel during her stay.
According to the police officials, the incident took place on January 5, when a staff member, Sumit Rao (32), of a five-star hotel in Mumbai allegedly molested a 35-year-old Canadian woman during her stay.

The woman, a Canadian national works for an event management firm and often visits India. In her complaint, she alleged that while she was staying at the hotel, the man came to her room and molested her on the pretext of taking a selfie with her.
Acting on the complaint, the accused has been arrested.
