Builder Sanjay Agarwal used to live with his family at Chembur's Siddhi colony. However, on an unfateful day, the builder shot himself in the head and committed suicide. As he was a renowned builder and the reason behind his death was unclear, the police decided to dig deeper into the matter.
Chembur Police investigated and on the basis of their findings, they detained six people. All of them had booked flats in Agarwal's project.
When the police spoke with Sanjay's son, Kshitij Agarwal, he told them that his father was being mentally harassed. He added that the six people had booked flats in a project led by his father but later they started demanding their money back and when he refused to do so, they started calling him a cheat. Therefore, his son claimed that under the pressure of such defamation, his father committed suicide.
Currently, the police are thoroughly investigating the matter and are cross-examining the accused.
