Chembur’s famous builder Sanjay Agrawal on January 3, shot himself to death and committed suicide. The reason behind his suicide has been unclear and Chembur Police station has registered the case of unnatural death. The builder lived with his family at Chembur’s Sanjona Complex in the Sindhi Colony.
Earlier, Agrawal was working at the New Chem Industry and had worked for 20 years. Chem Industry was a chemical company and was renowned for supplying chemicals to various companies in Mumbai. In 1999, Agrawal had also started a company in partnership with the builder Sunil Gupta.
The builder shot himself at around 11:30 pm when there was no one at his home with his own private pistol. The post-mortem of Agrawal’s body has been conducted by Rajawadi Hospital and the reason behind the suicide is yet to be known by the police. They are further probing into the matter.
