Kurla - The Nehru Nagar police have arrested a man from Varanasi for kidnapping a seven-year-old boy from Kurla and demanding ransom of Rs 15 lakh from his parents. According to information, the boy was playing in front of his house when the accused took him out promising him chocolates. The accused then took him to Varanasi. He had purchased many bogus sim cards to avoid police and called the parents of the boy many times demanding ransom of Rs 15 lakh. On being informed, the police immediately started investigation into the case and traced the accused Kishankumar Lacheram (20) by tracing his mobile location. Nehru Nagar police took help of their counterparts in Varanasi who succeeded in nabbing the accused from Varanasi railway station on Tuesday early morning. The boy has been released from his captivity.
