Mumbai- The Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) officers interrogated one Republic of Niger national namely Nassir Adam Mohamad holding passport no. 09PC66452 who arrived from Kano via Addis Ababa to New Delhi. He thereafter took an Air India flight AI 887 to Mumbai. When his bag was examined, AIU officers recovered Rs. 43, 34,400/- which was not declared as Customs Declaration Form (CDF) to the Customs by the accused after his arrival to India. The said foreign currency was seized and the passenger was arrested.
