Amboli police laid a trap to catch the smuggler and arrested Rakesh Hiroiya with 1.5 kg brown sugar.

Andheri’s Amboli Police arrested a drug smuggler selling narcotic substances. The accused has been identified as Rakesh Govardhanlal Hiroiya who was selling brown sugar in the posh areas of Mumbai. The police have confiscated more than 1.5 kg brown sugar from the smuggler.

The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) is on a mission to stop the drug-smugglers across the country. Under this campaign, the officials had conducted a raid in Bhandup against the smugglers. After which, the Commissioner had asked all the DCP’s at zonal locations have been ordered to take strict action in this regard.

Similarly, Amboli police had received the information that drugs worth lakhs of rupees in Veera Desai was going . After which, the Amboli police laid a trap and arrested Rajesh, walking in a suspicious condition. When Rajesh was searched, 1.5 kg of brown sugar was recovered from him. The market price of this brown sugar is said to be ₹30 lakh.
