A seven years old boy was beaten by the auto driver at Virar for playing in the auto rickshaw. The child’s parents are alleging that their boy suffered head injury due to the beating.
Virar residents Hemang Mehta and his family and the auto driver stay in the same building. On 17 March, Hemang’s seven-year-old son was beaten up by the auto driver. The latter alleged that Mehta’s son used to sit and play in auto despite the warning. However, the boy used to sit in auto and play. This enraged the auto driver who then slapped him. This act was caught on the CCTV. Police are now investigating the CCTV.
