Azad Maidan police bust Bangladeshi gang

Mumbai- The Azad Maidan police have busted a Bangladeshi gang by arresting one Latif Gazi, allegedly the mastermind behind the operations.
Police say the gang, run by several persons, would provide pan cards and Aadhar cards to help Bangladeshi migrants to obtain bail.  Vijay Kadam, PI Azad Maidan police station told Mumbai Live that the gang appears to have received help from  local corporators in procuring Aadhar cards and pan cards. These corporators hail from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Vasai- Virar areas, police say.
The names of corporators allegedly involved in this racket are Ghatkopar’s Pratiksha Ghuge, Navi Mumbai’s Meghali Raut and Vasai-Virar’s Narendra Patil. However, Ghuge denied the charge when Mumbai Live contacted her for comment.
