Police held Baba Murugan in theft case

Malad – Dindoshi police arrested two gang members of Baba Murugan gang. Baba Murugan didn’t eat anything for 115 days after being arrested. Baba Murugan is also known as Narayan Ishqi Tevar. Murugan is a resident of Raigad. He is very proficient in carrying out the theft.

Shop Owner Uttam Singh stated that on the night of 21 January, they broke the shutter and stole mobile phones and electric appliances worth Rs 6 lakh. The complaint of the theft was registered on 22 March in Dindoshi Police station. Dindoshi Police Team with the aid of CCTV footage nabbed Baba Murugan.

Investigation Officer Prashant Nishandar told Mumbai Live, Baba Murugan along with two gang members carried out the theft on Rani Sati Marg near Maruti Telecom. Police recovered 36 mobile phones.
