A fatal accident took place outside the Sahyadri Rajya Guest House in South Mumbai on Tuesday, August 12, where a BEST electric bus hit a car parked on the road. According to the eye witnesses, the woman died on the spot after being crushed between the bus and the car. The woman is a local resident and had come there for a morning walk.

Upon receiving the information of the accident, the woman's body was immediately shifted to J. J. Hospital by police. Sources said that the woman's name is Nita Shah, aged between 65 and 70,
and is a resident of Prakash Building on Ridge Road. The police are investigating the matter further.
Meanwhile, authorities are reviewing CCTV footage from the area to understand the exact sequence of events leading to the collision.
