Kandivali- If you are at ATM and you have a problem in withdrawing money, do not ask for help. You might get robbed.
Recently, two victims namely Sukurullah Abdul and Abhishek Singh fell prey to fraudsters and lost their money. This incident took place in Kandivali's Hindustan Naka's State Bank atm. Abdul was not able to debit money when he was asked for help. He took his help. Meanwhile, the accused exchanged the cards and gave his card to the victim. Later, Abdul got a withdrawal message of Rs. 20,000.
Another victim Abhishek Singh fell prey to the same trick. He was trying to debit money from SBI atm but there was some problem with the machine. He was asked for a help from an unknown man who helped Singh in transacting Rs. 5000. However, when he reached home, he got another withdrawal message of Rs. 5000.
Victims filed police complaint with Charkop police station who are now searching for the fraudsters with the help of CCTV.
