Mumbai- Bodies of two brothers, who drowned in Powai lake have been found by the fire-brigade team today. Saddam Abdul Shaikh (22) and Aslam Abdul Shaikh (24) drowned in the lake at Chandiwali, Kurla area last night around 22.05 PM, said police.
3 of the brothers with their friends were at Powai lake during the night time, the reason is still unknown. Aslam and his friend jumped in to save Saddam, but, were not able to rescue him and they started drowning, police said.
According to the fire brigade officials, their friend was rescued by villagers. But, both the brothers drowned, villagers said. The fire brigade team was busy with the rescue operation and finally, the bodies of both the brothers were found.
