In a shocking revelation, a leading Bollywood actress' sister has accused actor Aditya Pancholi of assault and exploitation. On Sunday, Versova Police opened an investigation against the actor after receiving an e-mail application from the actress' sister. The alleged incident had occurred more than a decade ago during the early stages of the supposed victim's career.
However, the actor denied the allegations and stated that the actress' lawyer had threatened to file a false rape case against him. After which, the actor filed a defamation suit against the actress and his statement was recorded by the police on Sunday.

Accordingly, the police will now approach the victim to record her statement so they can ascertain the nature of the alleged exploitation and then, file an FIR accordingly.
It is to be taken under consideration that the alleged incident took place 13 years ago and it might be a difficult task for the police to gather evidence to register an FIR. The police added that the e-mail states that Pancholi's wife was aware of the incident.
