Yesterday actress and a legendary Bollywood star, Zeenat Aman, has been known for many popular films and made a mark in the 70s and 80s with her roles.
The actress, filed a molestation case against Amar Khanna, a businessman, stating that he molested the actress, over the last few months and bothered her thoroughly.
Mumbai Live spoke to DCP Paramjeet Singh Dahiya, who mentioned that Sarfaraz aka Amar Khanna is a businessman professionally, and was a good friend of Zeenat Aman and her family, for a long time. However, the relationship started souring and did not continue after she and Amar fought and the two families stopped talking. Despite this, Amar continued to send messages, clips, and videos to Zeenat, asking her to meet, which she avoided. Earlier he was also caught misbehaving thrice with the security guard of the building. Annoyed with this scenario, she filed a complaint at the Juhu Police station, where he is accused of molesting and threatening her. Complaints have been lodged under section 354 (d) and 509 of Indian Penal Code.
The actress shot to fame with her distinctive roles in films like Hare Ram Hare Krishna, Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Yaadon Ki Baraat and many others. She did try her luck in Hollywood but failed. However, she did not lose hope and continue to work in India, and win hearts, like always. She was later seen in Boom, Jaana... Let's Fall in Love and others which did not make a mark at the Box Office.
With her captivating beauty, Zeenat Aman was also felicitated with beauty pageant titles like Femina Miss India Asia Pacific 1970. She married Mazhar Khan in 1985 who passed away in 1998 due to health issues. She now lives with her two sons, Azaan and Zahaan.
