Navghar Police have registered a case against Yadav for causing death due to negligent driving. During the investigation, police discovered that Ganesh had registered his uncle’s two-wheeler with Uber, but was actually using his own bike, which is a violation of registration norms.
In addition, Navghar Police have also registered a case against the Director of Uber India for violating traffic regulations, as the two-wheeler was being used commercially despite the rider not having a valid licence. No arrests have been made so far. Meanwhile, it has come to light that only 100 two-wheelers were registered in Mumbai over the past two months. In September, the Wadala RTO registered 50 electric bikes each from Rapido and Uber.
