Mumbai - Sensation prevailed at Mumbai airport when a passenger was found carrying two kilogram gold in his pockets on Thursday night.

According to information, customs department officials arrested one Goya Ahmed Siraj, a Saudi Arabian national who works for the Saudi Arabia Airlines’ ground services, for possessing 2 kg gold worth Rs 63.71 lakh.

The customs officials seized two gold bars weighing two kilograms and one biscuit weighing 100 gms from him. The accused has confessed to his crime. Further investigation into the case is underway.
