Bandra- In an appalling incident, an alleged drug addict was beaten up by dabbawallas for trying to eat from one of the tiffins in their kitty at Bandra railway station. According to the dabbawallas, they are responsible for people's tiffins reaching their proper destinations, so they cannot let anyone mess with them. On condition of anonymity, a railway officer told Mumbai Live that a person could be a drug addict as well as hungry.
The same person was later seen sharing a meal with another beggar on the railway platform.
