Daddy ‘Arun Gawli’ out on furlough

Underworld Don Arun Gawli has been granted furlough by Nagpur bench of Bombay High Court. Gawli has been granted 28 days’ furlough. The gangster turned politician was convicted for the murder of Shiv Sena MLA Kamlakar Jamsandekar on 3 August 2012 along with 11 others and was awarded life imprisonment.

Furlough is a matter of right and every convict after spending a year behind bars is entitled to get the furlough and is allowed to go home for 28 days. Gawli was denied furlough by the DIG prison after which Gawli moved to the high court for decision.
