The officers of Thane Immoral Human Trafficking Cell have revealed that prostitution business is being run under the name of massage centre in Shankheshwar Housing Complex on Manpada Road in the eastern part of Thane. In this case, the police have registered a case against the woman who runs the massage centre at Ulve in Navi Mumbai at the Tilak Nagar police station on Friday.


The accused woman running the massage centre has been identified as Jayashree Pramod Mundhe. She was running a massage centre named Sanskriti Beauty and Medi Spa at Flat No. 6, 1st Floor, Shankheshwar Home Complex. Two women victims have been rescued from this centre by the police. The police investigation revealed that these women had entered into this immoral business considering the financial condition of the house and their livelihood. 


Senior Police Inspector Chetna Chaudhary of Thane's Immoral Human Trafficking Cell was approached by an unknown person on Friday. It was informed that a prostitution business is being run in the name of a massage centre in a flat of Shankheshwar Home complex on Manpada road in Dombivli. The centre was run by the name of Sanskriti Beauty and Medi Spa Shop. In this centre, INR 1k was charged for massage and INR 1.5k for body pleasure. On paying INR 2.5k to the massage centre, the woman who was running the centre was providing victims as per the customer's choice.

On getting information about this unethical business, Senior Police Inspector Chetna Chaudhary, Assistant Police Inspector Deepak Walgude and their team reached Dombivli to raid Sanskriti Massage Centre. He got the help of Mamata Munjal, Sub-Inspector of Tilak Nagar Police Station. In the massage centre, the officers of the Prevention of Unethical Business Cell sent fake customers to ascertain whether the unethical business was really going on there. The fake customer went to the centre with the money marked by the police.


As soon as he went to the centre, INR 2.5k was taken from him. A woman was made available to him for physical pleasure as per his demand. As per the instructions of the police, as soon as the fake customer contacted the police from the room and alerted the police on the mobile phone, senior officers Chetna Chaudhary, Mamta Munjal and the action team entered the Sanskriti Massage Centre. At that time, two female victims were rescued.


One was from Airegaon in Dombivli, one from Antop Hill area in Mumbai. These women are in the age group of 35 to 38 years. INR 7k and other tools were found at the scene of action which was seized by the police. The police have registered a case against massage centre operator Jayashree Mundhe for violating the Prevention of Unethical Human Trafficking Act. Citizens are demanding inspection of massage centres in Dombivli, Kalyan city area.
