A 42-year-old father committed suicide by killing his daughter in Lalbauh. Kalachowki police have registered a case of murder in this matter and the police are investigating further. The name of the deceased is Bhupesh Atmaram Pawar (42) and he lived with his family on the first floor of Vimawala building in Ganesh Galli. On Tuesday, he killed his daughter Arya Pawar (11) by hanging her after a fight with his wife. He then committed suicide by hanging himself.
After the incident took place in the residential house, he was immediately taken to KEM Hospital in Parel. But doctors there declared both dead.

On Tuesday night, Bhagyashree Pawar's statement was recorded in this matter. Based on her complaint, the Kalachowki police registered a case of murder against Pawar. Police are investigating further in this matter.
