Sheena Bora Murder Case: Prime accused Indrani Mukerjea admitted to JJ Hospital

Prime accused in the murder case of Sheena Bora, Indrani Mukerjea has been admitted to JJ Hospital after she complained of dizziness and headache. She was brought to the hospital around 11:45 am from the Byculla Jail on Friday. 

She is being assessed for neurovascular problems and this is the second time this year, she had to be admitted.

Earlier, Mukerjea (46) was diagnosed with hypertension and cervical spondylitis and was brought in a semi-conscious state from her prison cell at the Byculla Jail in South Mumbai.

In August, Mukerjea had moved a bail application in the special CBI court citing ill-health and threat to her life. However, the CBI opposed the bail plea saying that her release would be "prejudicial to the prosecution".
