Fraudsters arrested for luring youngsters into international jobs

Mumbai – Powai police have arrested two accused, Wasiulla Kureshi and Izhar Hussain Ikbal Hussain for duping 89 youngsters under the pretext of giving them international jobs. They used to lure youngsters into giving them assurances of placements in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and other gulf countries.

Their modus operandi included uploading an advertisement on the internet about international placements. In the advertisement, they mentioned the address of Powai. Many youngsters followed the address and reached Powai. As per the meeting, these youngsters gave 30k to 40k to the accused in hope of receiving a call. 

As per the assurance, these youngsters received the call and were asked to bring more money. But when they reached the office, they found it locked. Youngsters then filed a police complaint at Powai and Sahar police station.
