Malad- Three friends lost their lives in a freak car accident on 17 January.
These friends, all Malwani residents, had booked a car on OLX and had traveled to Nashik to buy it. While they were returning to Mumbai, a truck hit their car and the blow was so strong, that two friends, Sanjay Shukl, and Sameer Sheikh died on the spot. Another friend who was at the wheel, Asif Khatri was grievously injured. He was taken to KEM hospital but he breathed his last on 21 January.
