Gujarat police nab two from Mankhurd for threats to hospital

The Gujarat police have nabbed two suspects from Mankhurd who had allegedly threatened to plant a bomb in a well known hospital in Gujarat.

On 2 March, an unknown person called the Avkar hospital and threatened that he would plant a bomb on its premises. The Gujarat police launched a search for the person who made the call, and traced him to Mankhurd.

According to the police, Shahid Khan who owned the sim card, from which the call had been made,  said that the mobile number does not belong to him. On interrogation, he mentioned another Wahid Sheikh, who had reportedly bought the sim card from him. Gujarat police have taken both persons into custody and further investigations are on.
