The Bombay High Court on Thursday accorded bail to Aryan Khan, Arbaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha in the drugs on cruise case. Whilst Khan didn’t come out of jail on the said day since the detailed order wasn’t released, the bail conditions were brought to light on Friday.
Based on accounts, there are seven conditions to the bail of three. These entail the following:
- Each needs to execute a personal bond worth INR 1 lakh alongside one or more sureties in a similar amount.
- They shouldn’t go to parties of the kind they were arrested from.
- They will have to immediately surrender their passports to the special court. In addition to this, they cannot leave the country without permission from the court.
- If they wish to travel outside of Mumbai, they will be required to appraise the investigating officer, as well as, provide him with the itinerary.
- They shouldn’t attempt to get in touch with any witnesses in the case and try to influence them.
- They aren’t permitted to make any statements in any way in the media.
- They will have to go to the NCB office in Mumbai every Friday between 11 am and 2 pm in order to register their presence.
The ordeal of the case has dragged the name of the NCB Zonal Director, Sameer Wankhede who is in the eye of the storm amidst allegations.
